The Three Stones of Bethany Book Tour #AuthorAprilMarcom @LovingtheBook

The kingdom of Bethany was once a beautiful place made up of five magical nations, each with their own special gifts. It all changed in a day, however, when the murderous dredgelings arrived. No one quite knows where they came from or how they keep multiplying, no matter how many are killed in the long, cruel war they’ve waged.

All seems to be lost, until a human girl named Taylor is mistakenly transported to Bethany. Kane, the king over these nations, despises her whole-heartedly at first, and then she makes him laugh for the first time since the devastation began years ago. And the earthling manages to find new ways to surprise him with her valor and loyalty every single day. Unfortunately, Taylor’s only wish through their dangerous quest to reunite three magical stones and save the kingdom, aside from surviving this fearful place, is to return home.

But as fate goes, she soon discovers the only way to recapture the stones and save the lives of the royals she’s come to love as her first real family is to give up any hope of ever returning to her old life. In the end it all comes down to what sort of hero she truly is, one to her own self, or one to entire nations.

Top Ten List

10 fun facts about me:

  1. My mom loved my middle name (Melody) so much, she gave it to my youngest sister for her first name. She always said if she’d had another girl, she would have given her Melody’s middle name (Noelle) for a first name, too.

  2. My senior year, I eloped with my high school sweetheart to Vegas. Nearly fourteen years later, we’re still madly in love!

  3. I was a first chair French horn player for years in school. I still regret giving it up.

  4. If I was a Disney fairy from Pixie Hollow, I would definitely be a winter fairy.

  5. My two sisters and I are all naturally brunettes. One stayed natural, one went with a vibrant red, and I went blond.

  6. No matter how hard I try, I can’t whistle.

  7. I live way out in the boondocks and love the seclusion.

  8. I never grew out of lovingcartoons.

  9. I’m a graduate of John Casablancas Modeling and Talent Agency training program.

  10. Pugs are absolutely my favorite kind of dogs, though I love all canines.

Snippets

Something enormous and dark rose from the ground, waves rolling through its hairy back with the disturbing groaning it produced. It stood taller and taller until a bear as tall as a house with heavy folds of skin hanging from every part of its body towered above them.

Joy pulled the arrow back in her bow. “Taylor, run!”

———-

She squeezed her eyes shut and stood up slowly on top of Goliath’s back, wavering a bit. The lantern was so high; she would have never gotten to it without his help. Her tears clouded her vision. She reached out for the lantern and nearly fell, but caught it and used it to steady herself. She squeezed the tears from her eyes again. They kept refilling. She felt her way around the sides half-blind. Finally, she felt a little latch stuck too tight to open. She pulled a knife from her belt and began fighting to pry it open. It budged slightly. She dropped the knife when she heard a horrible screeching sound.

“THIEF!”
